Good idea, bad implimentation

Pros:	Thin case, swivel belt clip
Cons:	Top front too easily bent, belt clip bolt fell off because it was glued on

I liked this case very much because it was thin, light, and easy to slide the iPhone in and out. The belt clip bolt on the back was just the right size for me to hang the iPhone and case on my cars dash using a separate bracket I double-stick taped to the dash.

The biggest problem with this case is the top front of the case is ONLY supported by a relatively THIN amount of leather and/or plastic material that is easily bent outward. After one event where I twanged this portion of the case outward (around 45 degrees), it was bent beyond repair... so I cut this part off. The case worked OK after but it definitely didnt look right.

I can only recommend that Case Mate use METAL as the basis for the construction of this case and wrap that metal in leather.

The second problem with this case is the belt click swivel bolt FELL OFF because it was only GLUED on to the back of the case! It lasted a while, but its definitely a POOR design because theres always so much stress on that swivel bolt. Sooner or later that bolt WILL fail and you MIGHT ding up your iPhone with the inevitable drop to the floor.

If the case was made of metal wrapped in leather, the belt clip swivel bolt could obviously be WELDED onto the metal substructure of the case and (hopefully) NEVER fall off.

Case Mate, please make a version 2 of this case using the above recommendations. You almost got it right.
